Subbu has been a serial entrepreneur with over three decades of expertise in building enterprises that use technology to bring in transformation in the nations and enhance value to its citizens.  

Currently, as the Managing Director and CEO of Next Health Digital Solutions, Subbu focuses on Public Health Care Tech Innovation and is a pioneer in Public Health Governance Analytics that builds futuristic platforms for National Health Security. As the founding promoter, MD and CEO of CoOptions Technologies limited Subbu raised over $ 25 M in multiple rounds and innovated the first technology platform for financial inclusion and delivery of Banking and Insurance products to the unorganized sector.  

He is on the board of several companies providing strategic guidance for scale and innovation. He mentors and coaches young CEOs and bureaucrats.   

Subbu served as a Technology Advisor at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) at the Centre for Urban Governance, guiding several digital transformation initiatives for governments globally.  

He was responsible in establishing Entrepreneurial Incubation and skilling Centres. Proposed and implemented large-scale PPP (Public Private Partnership) initiatives along with global financing to various government projects in India and abroad. These include a Euro 43 M to Pune Municipal Corporation, Government of Maharashtra, for a multi-specialty hospital, USD 6.5 M to Sri Lanka supporting the digital transformation of Sri Lanka’s Water Utility using Indian Line of Credit, etc.  

He worked closely with governments and agencies of various countries, such as Mauritius, Brazil, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka, on a wide variety of e-governance projects. He collaborated with UNICEF and other global institutions working on Woman and Childcare.  

Subbu built large organizations, raised capital, worked in BFSI, Health Care, Education, Water and Sanitation, and defence domains. He is one of the few CEOs invited from India by Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft, for the Microsoft Global CXO conference in Seattle, USA. As a niche business player, he has been the Brand ambassador 2011-12 for “Dell” in its unique entrepreneurial campaign “Take Your Own Path”. He was one of the 50 global entrepreneurs identified as a part of this global campaign. 

Subbu presented papers and has been a tech evangelist on the impact of Information Technology and E-governance at various forums such as World Bank, Washington, Metropolis, ISB, IIM Bangalore, HDSG, BroadRidge, IIM Vishakhapatnam, CSI, e-INDIA, IIIT, SPIN etc. on Smart Cities, e-governance, health care, Big Data analytics, and AI. 

Subbu is a Mathematics Graduate and holds a Master’s in Computer Applications from the University of Hyderabad. His academic interests include Big Data Analytics, Fuzzy mathematics, Big Data, AI, Product engineering, and Change Management.  His financial advisory consulting focuses on innovative business models and raising funds for governments and companies through multilateral agencies.
